Our theme this year is Courageous Creativity, we invite submissions of original works that explore ideas related to identity, culture, history, politics and the human experience.
The Indo-American Arts Council is thrilled to announce our upcoming Literary Festival scheduled for November 2023, celebrating and exploring the vibrant and diverse cultures of India through the written word.
We were deeply honored to have hosted a superlative roster of literary talent at our hugely successful 2022 Literary Festival. Our theme this year is Courageous Creativity, we invite submissions of original works in poetry, fiction, and non-fiction that bring unique perspectives and explore ideas related to identity, culture, history, politics and the human experience. From Architecture to Zombie Fiction we are looking for works that examine and showcase the beauty, challenges, complexity, diversity and richness of Indian culture and society. Original works in the languages of India with English translations will also be showcased.

What if I don’t send two copies of my book?
This will result in your submission being treated as incomplete. No submission will be considered unless we receive two copies of the book.
Are Digital and/or Soft copies Accepted?
Yes, we accept digital & soft copies of the book.
What is the deadline?
June 15, 2023
What are dates of publication being considered?
Books published in 2022, 2023 and those that are scheduled for release early in 2024 will be considered.
